Thank you for bringing such excitement and energy to the start of the 2017-2018 school year.  It was great to have everyone back.  We know it was a long day on Wednesday and we would love your feedback on how to make the Ed Services portion of the day better.  Thank you to those that already filled out the form Jamey sent out on Thursday.  If you haven't already, please take the time to answer the 4 questions on this form so we can get feedback and improve.

On August 21st there will be a solar eclipse. Jen Kloczko put together a slide deck with resources. Please share with your staff before that day. Any additional safety information for that day will come from Business Services.

Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LCFF Funds If you are placing any orders using LCFF money, here is a helpful resource to look at when determining if LCFF can be used. When in doubt, always reach out to your coach or Rachael. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
