October 30th PD Day

Progress Reports
Just a reminder progress reports go home on October 6th. For elementary schools, the progress reports can be accessed in PowerTeacher Pro and will need to be printed.  For middle school, a school messenger will need to go home on that day to remind parents to check PowerSchool.

PIE Grants
Just a reminder about PIE Grants.  Renee sent an email earlier this week.  PIE Grant Program applications are due by Friday, October 13, 2017.  Please encourage your teachers to apply.

Education Conference
The Education Conference is on October 7th at William Jessup.  The cost is $50.  Please see the flyer for more information.

TechFest
TechFest is a great technology conference run by CapCUE.  The cost is only $75 for the day and will be held at Rocklin High School on September 30th.

PARC- Spark the Fire
On Sept. 28th Barrett Ranch Elementary in Dry Creek, under the leadership of Dr. Don Vu will be opening up their school to share their journey as they traveled through Steven’s books together and SPARKED THE SPIRIT OF READING among their students. Visit their thematic Reading Lounges, all five of them. Then begin reading Steven’s books with your staff and spread the spark in your own schools!
