Oct. 30th PD Day
Here is all you need to know about our General Education PD on October 30!  Please review the information in the document, so you have all you need to plan a wonderful day of learning!

iReady Cycle
Just a reminder that the iReady testing cycle is October 23rd-November 17th.  Please communicate with your staff if you chose to start at a later date.

Report Cards
A reminder you can find all dates regarding report card dates using the tab above on this blog.  Grades are due in PowerSchool by Wednesday, November 15th at 11:59pm.  We will have more information in the next blog regarding help desk hours the weekend before grades are due.

  • Shared folder will contain Grade Level Expectations for reporting TBL based on Trimester District Assessments.
  • Use Benchmark Formative Assessments to assist in reporting TBL for report cards as well

Kings Basketball Coaches Clinic
October 28th Kings' Coach Dave Joerger is having a coaching clinic.  Middle school admin might think about sending their basketball coaches.  Cost is $175 per coach.

This is something helpful to keep in hand for families in need not only during the holidays, but all year long. LiveScan Update The Roseville PD is no longer doing live scans for fingerprinting. Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LCFF Funds If you are placing any orders using LCFF money, here is a helpful resource to look at when determining if LCFF can be used. When in doubt, always reach out to your coach or Rachael. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
