"Ocon proposed a radical change, moving the entire school to a standards-based grading model that emphasized skill acquisition over rote memorization tested at rigid intervals. At Juarez there are no Ds or Fs. And no deadlines. Students progress through a related series of tasks, each meant to develop a discrete skill. If a student fails to demonstrate mastery of a given skill, they are provided with additional resources and time."

-A reminder there will be support for plan writing @ Student Services 1000 Darling Way, 3:00-5:00pm on the following dates: November 29, 2017, December 13, 2017, and January 18, 2018.
-Email Meghan that the plan is updated, approved by SSC and complete in DTS by February 9, 2018
-Student Services will present all site plans to the School Board: March 1, 2018Genius Hour at Cirby, students presented ideas on how to make Cirby even better. |
