January 8th PD Day
Just a reminder the times below is when we start.  Each location will be open 30 minutes ahead of time for teacher sign-in.

TK-5 teachers will need their computers.  Sign-in will be done in the classrooms.
Grades 6-8, sign-in will be done in the room where Myron will be speaking.  Myron said teachers will not need their computers.

Here are the locations and times:
Grades TK-2, Gates Elementary, 8:30-3:30
Grades 3-5, Thomas Jefferson Elementary, 8:30-3:30
Grades 6-8, Bayside Blue Oaks, 10000 Alantown Drive, Roseville 95678. 8:00-3:00
All K-8 Special Education Staff, including instructional aides Destiny Community Center, 6850 Five Star Blvd. Rocklin, CA 95677 8:00-3:00

Just a reminder to give input on what you would like future training on as far as Ed Tech training and preference on day and time.  Brandon will email after the break to let you know the dates and topics once they are set.

ELPAC question of the month:
Will the Summative ELPAC take longer to administer than the CELDT?

The Summative ELPAC in kindergarten and grades one and two are significantly shorter than the CELDT. For grade spans three through five, and six through eight, the Summative ELPAC is approximately the same length as the CELDT. However, the Initial ELPAC will be shorter than the CELDT.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
