The Sacramento County Office of Education is pleased to announce a day with instructional expert, Dr. Douglas Fisher, co-author of Engagement by Design. Engagement by Design gives you a framework for making daily improvements and highlights the opportunities that will bring the greatest benefit in the least amount of time. You’ll learn about relationships, clarity, and challenge.

Time: 9am-3pm
Cost: $175 per person (includes the book, Engagement by Design, and lunch)

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LCFF Funds If you are placing any orders using LCFF money, here is a helpful resource to look at when determining if LCFF can be used. When in doubt, always reach out to your coach or Rachael. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
