Progress Reports Go Home September 28th
A reminder that progress reports will go home on September 28th.  Brandon will be sending an email to all teachers reminding them about the date and other information regarding progress reports.

Elementary Digital Citizenship Checklist
Below is a document you can use regarding Digital Citizenship and the lessons taught at your school. The document is view only so you will have to make a copy. There are three spots per grade level but you can insert a row if you have more than 3 teachers at that grade level or delete a row if you have less.  It is not required you use this document, but the expectation is that you are checking in with your teachers to understand when the lessons will be taught.

Don’t forget to fill out the new sections in the “Comprehensive Needs Assessment” in your SPSA. If you have questions on any of the sections, call Amy for assistance. The SPSAs are due in DTS by October 26th and the first official work party for the SPSA is September 27th.

Optional PowerTeacherPro Office Hours
Have questions regarding using the gradebook?  Elementary teachers, want to know how to use T, B, L for assignments?  Middle school teachers, still have questions about how to enter Learning Behavior Grades? Come to the optional PowerTeacherPro Office Hours on September 24th from 3:45-4:45 in the District Office Board Room.  Training is open to all teachers in K-8th grade.  Please email Brandon Blom if you have any questions about this optional training.

Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LCFF Funds If you are placing any orders using LCFF money, here is a helpful resource to look at when determining if LCFF can be used. When in doubt, always reach out to your coach or Rachael. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
