504 Forms
When using the newly created 504 forms and suspension notice fillable pdf, please use Chrome as your web browser and download the forms as templates to your laptop. The formatting will not work correctly if the documents are opened in a different web browser.  If Adobe Reader prompts you to update you will need to that in order to use the forms.

Grading Resources
Parents and teachers can now get to documents regarding assessment and grading on the District website.  Here is the link to the site.  Education Services will be updating that site throughout the year and going forward.  Teachers can also access it on the tab above on the Educator Blog.

Please submit a SchoolDude ticket for your site technician to install PDF Mergy to enable printing from a Google Classroom folder.  Here is a video showing you how to print once it is installed.

PDF of Digital Literacy "I Can" Statements, Keyboard Shortcuts, Scope and Sequence
This folder contains all of the grade-level "I Can" statements for anyone that wanted it in a PDF version or wants to be able to print those or the keyboard shortcuts.  The folder can be found under the resources tab of the Digital Literacy site.

The Education Conference at William Jessup University is October 6th.  The keynote speakers this year are John Eick and Paul Robbins and sessions include great local educators including some of our own RCSD teachers.  Please see the flyer for more information.

Placer Food Bank Linked above is a resource for the Placer Food Bank public food distribution schedule. This is something helpful to keep in hand for families in need not only during the holidays, but all year long. LiveScan Update The Roseville PD is no longer doing live scans for fingerprinting. Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. In the front office/in safety plan binder- easy to access: - Post the telephone number for the fire department. - List of who does what during a fire emergency. In each room by the door: - Post an evacuation map. - Instructions for what to do in an emergency (how do you account for kids, communicate, etc). BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
