Roseville City School District Celebrates 150 Years!
For 150 years, Roseville City School District has been inspiring and educating the youngest minds in Roseville. RCSD began modestly in 1869 with 44 students. In the last 150 years, we have grown to an impressive 11,500+ students. From the Gilded Age to the Information Age, our commitment and focus has always been child-centered.

Join us for a day of learning and writing with author Kelly Gallagher. Kelly has written many books including 180 Days: Two Teachers and the Quest to Engage and Empower Adolescents (with Penny Kittle), Teaching Adolescent Writers and Write Like This.
September 14, 2019 (8 am to 2 pm)
$80 (box lunch included)

This fall join us for a full day of teaching and learning with colleagues from all over Northern California at the CapCUE Tech Fest 2019. Workshops will highlight the themes of Google Apps, Tablets in the Classroom, Project Based Learning, Connected Classroom, Digital Literacy and Creation, STEM & NGSS and more! Click here to register.
Cost $80, includes lunch
Proceeds from the CapCUE Tech Fest support the CapCUE mini-grant program funding innovate uses of technology in our local schools for CapCUE members.

The Education Conference
River Bend Outdoor Environmental Program
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity for your 4th-7th-grade students to have a STEM education experience in a hands-on, outdoor environment. The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) and the American River Parkway Foundation are teaming up to conduct an Outdoor Environmental Education Program tied to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
This program consists of a half-day camp and will take place at The Campfire Site at River Bend Park in Rancho Cordova, along the American River. The cost is $600 per camp and includes all materials, instruction, bottled water, and a snack for each student. You can schedule a field trip from September 2019 - June 2020.

This year TK-5th grade, and 6-8th ELA and Math teachers will have three sub pull out professional development training dates. Unlike previous years, your training this year will be half-day training rather than full days. Please use the document below to see which dates you are attending PD. Please be aware that some sites have moved from A to B group to support sub numbers and needs.
