Comprehensive Safety Plan
The Comprehensive Safety Plan is also due in DTS on 12/13/19. Meghan will be available during the SPSA/Safety Plan work parties to assist with the Safety Plans. Here are the dates: 10/24-1:00-3:30, 11/6-2:00-4:00, 11/19-1:00-3:30. The same goals that are created for the SPSA will be used in the Comprehensive Safety Plan. More info to follow.

Don’t forget- At our November Leadership Meeting (11/12), we will be sharing our Trimester 2 Essential Standards document from our grade levels. Please ensure you are giving your teams directions and time to complete these. 
Chilton Flag Football League Champs
November 1st Site PD Day
Ken Ruggs, school psychologist, will be providing training for all school psychologists on the November 1st site PD day focused on best practices in working with students with dyslexia.  We would also like to offer this training to RSP and SDC teachers. Since this is a site PD day, we will be asking RSP and SDC teachers to check with their site principal before signing up to attend.  The morning workshop will be 8:30-11:30 and the afternoon session will be a workgroup time from 12:30-3:30. Teachers can attend the morning workshop only or the whole day.

Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. In the front office/in safety plan binder- easy to access: - Post the telephone number for the fire department. - List of who does what during a fire emergency. In each room by the door: - Post an evacuation map. - Instructions for what to do in an emergency (how do you account for kids, communicate, etc). BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LCFF Funds If you are placing any orders using LCFF money, here is a helpful resource to look at when determining if LCFF can be used. When in doubt, always reach out to your coach or Rachael. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
