Technology Loaner Program
Reviewing the Technology Loaner Program report as of today, we currently have 206 devices issued to students no longer enrolled in our District.

Unfortunately, these devices are not covered under the District's insurance policy or warranty, therefore it will be a loss for the District if we are unable to retrieve the devices.

Please follow the steps outlined here to identify devices issued to inactive or transferred out students, and follow up with the families to get the device returned.

Once the device(s) has been returned, please update PowerSchool > Technology Loaner Program to reflect the device returned.

Please let Laura know if there are any questions.

Using Translate within Chrome/Google Docs/Youtube Guide
You can use this documents to help show students or parents how to use translation tools in Chrome, Google Docs, and Youtube.  We are asking that each site goes over this information with parents at one of your upcoming ELAC meetings.

Certificated Laptop Refresh

The District has purchased additional MacBook Airs to refresh all certificated teachers still utilizing Chromebooks and/or MacBook Airs (three years or older), to establish a standard that will sustain and support the platforms used during Distance Learning. Technology Services hopes to receive these devices in the next six to eight weeks, and will begin deploying them as soon as possible.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to your site Information Systems Technician if you have any questions.
