Update to Running Report Cards
We do have one update to the training that was provided to principals and secretaries this week.  When you run the report by grade level (this is the report you will run for the email to be sent out), it is important you "Uncheck" any teachers who are in Champions.  If you do not take this step you will get blank report cards in your file for the students in Champions.  Below is a guide that has more details.  You can watch the second video to see exactly how to do this.
Emailing Report Cards- We will update this guide with a video next week.  We will also update the email messages that go out with the report cards by next Thursday.


Surveillance Testing Schedule
In partnership with California Health and Human Services, RCSD proudly offers COVID-19 surveillance testing for its employees on a twice-monthly basis. This testing is for RCSD Staff only. Staff must register ONCE through the Color Platform and then test at their assigned site. Testing at other locations is permission based only and must be approved by the COVID Response Team. See your administrator or supervisor for details.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
