Suicide Prevention Information- Elementary
Elementary Principals: Please share the video in the Suicide Prevention Folder with your staff this year. Please remember to engage your psychologist, counselor or other mental health provider as support to you when presenting. The slide deck is also available in the folder.

Site clerical and site admin, please use the form below to give any feedback regarding generating report cards and emailing them out through Swift. We know that was a new process for sites and want to make improvements for 3rd trimester if necessary.

3-8 CAASPP Practice Assessments in Otus 

Teachers can now see CAASPP practice tests in their Otus accounts.  This is an optional resource to support the students prepare for CAASPP.  They can still take practice assessments through TOMS.  There are benefits of using both practice tests in TOMS and the ones we created in Otus.

 

The benefit of practice assessments through the actual testing system is students get used to that system.  The benefit of practice assessments in Otus is teachers can see the data of what students got right or wrong and use it as a teaching tool with students.  Watch this video to find out more!

Don’t forget to fill out the ASB feedback form. This is due on 3/12. Thank you for your time to give us feedback.


April 5th
A reminder that April 5th was originally a PD on the District calendar, but with the change in days it is now a day off for staff.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
