Message to Staff for Beginning of the Year
Julie is working on putting together a video for the beginning of next school for PD.  I would like to compile a video of messages from you to the teachers and staff of Roseville City School District to use as a kickoff for the 2021-2022 school year.  I'm working on getting this done early :)

It would be awesome if everyone was represented.  (*If you are changing positions, or leaving it is up to you as to whether or not you'd like to participate). 

The prompt is:
My hope for all of us this year is......
1. You can either design a sign or some visual and take a photo of yourself and drop it here.  
OR
2. You can record a quick 15-second video message here. 

Please note: If you oversee a department, feel free to add "on behalf of ______ department, my hope for all of us as a district this year is......

The due date is April 30th! 

Drive-Through Promotion Activities

Update from School’s Insurance Group (SIG) regarding drive-through promotion activities:

School sites are allowed to create a drive-through promotion for students, but here are the parameters:

  • Students and parents must stay in their vehicles at all times. Parents and students are not allowed to get out of their cars to take pictures, give hugs, etc.
  • Staff must remain 6 feet apart and wear masks while standing in the drive-through area.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
