 Elementary and Middle School Administrators:

Please remember to fill out the DTM form by Friday, 5/21. We need to hear from all sites!  


Weekly surveillance testing for asymptomatic staff will continue throughout the summer. Testing hours will be 12:00 - 4:00 pm on Wednesdays in the Warehouse Conference Room located at 1040 Main Street. Testing will begin on June 2 and run through July 28, 2021. 


Teacher Checkout Form 

Here is the updated Teacher Checkout Form.  Please note there are some additional items that have been added for special education case managers (teachers and SLPs) to ensure IEP paperwork is complete before leaving for summer break.  ESS Admin staff will be reaching out to site principals by the end of the day on May 27th to share a list of any IEPs that need to be completed before case managers are checked out.  


CPI Training Dates

We will be discussing the CPI training schedule for all staff in more detail at our June leadership meeting but wanted to give leadership some dates to mark on your calendar. We will be providing the 2-day certification training for administrators on July 28th and 29th, and a 1-day refresher training on July 30th. You will be receiving a calendar invite for the training that you need to complete.


Cumulative Files for Champions 5th Graders
We know some 5th-grade files from Champions might need to be delivered in July since report cards might not be to the school site before clerical staff leave for the summer.  Please still send the rest of your 5th-grade files to the middle schools and follow whatever your site clerical put on the Summer Exit Ticket Form that was emailed to secretaries.  If you do need to send files over in July please fill out the regular item transfer form and send it to purchasing.  If you have any questions about this please feel free to reach out to Brandon.

Chargers
All Technology is deployed with chargers. Please email your site and ask they look for any loose chargers, so they can be collected in the Admin building before the last day of school. Reminder: Chromebook Chargers cost $35 to replace.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
