Progress Report Dates and Info
Elementary, in the Educator Blog from 1/6/22 it details the minimum expectations we have for progress reports. Please have your teachers send progress reports home by 1/14.

Middle school, it is your responsibility to send out an email to families tomorrow, 1/14.  Here is a sample message you can use.

Public Release of 2020-2021 ELPAC Data

California publicly released the 2020-2021 Summative and Initial ELPAC scores on January 7th, 2022. You can view these results at the CDE Public Reporting Page. In addition to this resource, you can find site and student ELPAC data by visiting your Ellevation account in Clever.

GATE Testing

If you are scheduled to host GATE testing between now and January 20th, please ensure that your testing rooms have enough desks/tables and chairs to accommodate the number of students testing.  In addition, please remember to make arrangements for a staff member to remain on-site until students have completed testing. Student scores will be mailed to families in May. Thank you for your time and support.

Safety Plan

Please make sure your safety plan is updated and approved by your Site Safety Team or Site Council by January 21st.  The checklist is linked above.  Email me when it’s ready for review.  Thank you!


New this Year:  This line was added to the section Incident Command Team Responsibilities: Students with disabilities will be provided with assistance from school staff in the event of an emergency in order to remain safe.

​​Search by Site: To search for all fully vaccinated students at your site, please log in to PowerSchool, and from Start Page select Second Dose from the dropdown menu as shown below:

 

If you would like to search for all fully vaccinated students by grade, please copy and paste the below search string from Start Page and update the grade to reflect the grade, as shown below:

 

U_Students_Extension.STU_VACCNUM=2;grade_level=[input grade]

Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
