Importance of Sleep
The Health and Human Services Department for the county has developed a handout for families about the importance of sleep. This is something that can be shared in your communication home. The electronic copies are linked below. If you would like hard copies for your office or a 2x6 poster, please email me to let me know and I will relay the information to the county.

Discovery Education PD
I provided some answers to frequently asked questions from the January 3rd PD in the Educator Blog; please reference for all FAQs. The two you may get asked the most are provided below.
  • Student Workbooks: Each teacher will be given two student workbooks as a resource. One to write in and one as a master to not write in. After the two initial workbooks are provided, all teachers will receive one new workbook starting the 2023-2024 school year, as a consumable resource. At this time, we are not purchasing workbooks for each student.
  • Teacher Editions: At this time we are not purchasing teacher editions. With any new curriculum, it takes time to learn and get comfortable with the system.
You can view the feedback here.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thank you!

January 3rd Behavior PD Feedback
If you have not done so already, please be sure all team members that were in attendance at your PBIS Tier I Behavior Training have filled out the feedback form. If your site is still finishing up the training, please be sure staff fills it out as soon as the training is complete at your site.
