      • Brandon (while Kelly is out on maternity leave)- Cirby, Fiddy, Gates, Stoneridge
    • Please read the Educator blog for additional details regarding Report Cards
    • Sites generate report cards
    • Please use the logo that is linked on the generate report card guide. That logo is smaller and will cause less issues when emailed out.
    • Instructions on how to email report cards
    • If you have a student that you know is disenrolling at the end of the Trimester, please work with the teacher (or teachers) to have grades completed before they are disenrolled. The site would then run the report card before the student is disenrolled. It is difficult to run the report card once they are no longer in our system.
    • It is important that sites run a preview for their teachers. There was a site report card folder shared with you last year. If you need the folder again please email your contact.
    • Brandon will run TK report cards. Joe will run RVA report cards.
    • Attendance now shows on the report card.
    • Clerical will receive optional training on running and emailing report cards on 2/7 (at the end of the meeting) if they want to stay on for a reminder on this process.
    • MS Timeline:
      • Run preview when it works for your site
      • All data should be entered into Otus by 11:59pm on February 23rd
      • Clerical should run reports on February 24th
      • Sites email out to families on February 25th
    • Elementary Sample Timeline (elementary sites can determine their timeline, report cards must go home by February 25th):
      • Run preview for teachers on February 22nd or 23rd
      • Run final report card on February 24th
      • Print or email home on February 25th

  • TK/K Update for 2022/2023
    • A “TK/K Planning Committee” will be developed with teachers and administrators to plan instruction, recommend materials, and plan for a seamless two-year Kindergarten program -2022-2023 school year.
    • The TK/K Planning Committee will review and discuss:
      • Lengthening the school day for TK and Kindergarten in the future.
      • Purchasing materials needed for the grade levels.
      • Reviewing and planning instruction and activities for a two-year Kindergarten program.
    • Transitional Kindergarten-2022/2023
      • 200 minutes each day (Same as this year)
      • IA for every TK class (200 min.) to bring the ratio to 24 students to two adults
      • Early/Late can remain for the 2022-2023 school year - the classes must never have more than 12 students and one adult as the ratio.
      • Early (12:1) - Overlap time with IA (24:2) - Late (12:1)
      • TK classes at Title I schools will be longer days using supplemental dollars for increased and improved services
    • Kindergarten-2022/2023
      • 260 minutes each day (Same as this year)
      • Early/Late can remain for the 2022-2023 school year.
      • Kaseberg will be piloting an all-day Kindergarten
    • TK/K must begin simultaneously as the other grades for early start students because there may not be onsite daycare in the morning for students. There is also a need to ensure universal feeding of breakfast and lunch for all children at every site next year.
  • K/1 Foundational Skills As a reminder, K/1 Foundational Skills rubrics are due in Otus by February 18, 2022.
