 Elementary PE Reminder

A reminder that if there is no sub for your PE class, the PE aide should not be utilized to run PE, even if the general education teacher is there.  The aide may be used in other ways on the campus.  PE teachers have been reporting this is happening more and more and it puts their aides in a bad spot if some are doing it and some are not.  Please make sure you are clear with your staff that if we do not have a sub for PE, they will get paid for their missed prep time, however the PE aide will not be running PE in any way.

Roseville Public Library Conversation Club for Adults Who Are Learning English

The Roseville Public Library offers a Conversation Club for adults who would like to practice conversational English through casual group discussion. The Conversation Club is a free drop-in program that is led by a volunteer and provides a casual setting for adults looking for a language connection. These clubs are held on Mondays from 9:30-10:45 at the Riley Library location and Thursdays from 11:15-12:30 at the DownTown Library location. Please share this information with your families who are seeking opportunities to practice English in a casual setting.

- Talk with your coach about your ideas for increased LCFF. 

- Bring new strategies/activities and additional funds toward current strategies/activities to SSC.  Reflect on agenda and minutes. 

- Send copy of agenda and minutes to Rachae. 

- Discuss with your coach how you are eliciting feedback from your staff.  

-Let your site know your report card timeline.

- Connect with your PBIS Leads/TOSAs to sign up for ACER Walkthrough and prepare PBIS Recognition.

- Complete SSC or ELAC LCAP Rep form by February 20th.

- Work with LCAP groups in Feb-March 31st to complete tasks - Timeline and Resources

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
