Summer Enrichment Resources
We know that many families would like to continue with a learning plan for students this summer. Below are links to a sample schedule with learning resources, and enrichment ideas that can be done online or without a computer.  This information will be emailed to families next week.

i-Ready Window 3

Just a reminder that iReady Window 3 ends on May 26.  Window 3 is required for 2nd grade and optional for Grades 3-8 because of CAASPP testing.

Associated Student Body Accounts (ASB) Reminder 

Just a friendly reminder to fill out the ASB  Form by Friday, June 9th. (ALL SITES MUST RESPOND).

Emergency Alert Button

As shared at leadership, a second emergency alert button will be installed at each school site.  Installation may start before the end of the school year.  Please work with your front office staff to decide on the location of the second button.  If your site’s isn’t installed before the end of the year, please identify the desired location so the installers place it correctly when the office staff is gone for the summer.

Supplemental Tools for Next Year

Please see the document below for information regarding different educational tools (such as Lexia, i-Ready, Edutpying, and more) for the 2023-24 school year. Most tools are staying the same. The one exception is Screencastify.

Teacher workdays: June 8 (optional) and June 9

Students attend June 12 to July 7 - no school June 19 & July 4

Teacher hours: 7:45 to 12:15

Student hours: 8:00 to noon

Placer Food Bank Linked above is a resource for the Placer Food Bank public food distribution schedule. This is something helpful to keep in hand for families in need not only during the holidays, but all year long. LiveScan Update The Roseville PD is no longer doing live scans for fingerprinting. Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
