 Report Card Timeline Information

We will be putting report card information in the Educator Blog next week. We wanted to get clerical and admin info earlier. Principals, a reminder that you must provide your teachers a preview before final report cards go out. Please get your staff the timeline for their preview and when you will run their report cards.

Generating Report Card Guide

If you are sending out report cards by email:

SwiftReach | Using PDF Builder to email Report Cards | Updated 2021

Attendance records will be through May 31st, and will start showing by 7am on June 2nd. Here is the new comment that needs to be added in the footer:
Attendance records for dropped classes are not included on this report card. Attendance records are through May 31, 2023.

Elementary Info Only

For Trimester 3 you will select the year, not the grading period. This will allow comments from all 3 trimesters to print on the report card.

Elementary Sample Timeline (elementary sites can determine their timeline, report cards must go home by the last day of school, June 6th):

  • Run preview for teachers on June 2nd

  • Run final report card on June 5th

  • Print or email home on June 6th

Middle School Info Only

Select Grading Period 3 when running the grading period.

MS Timeline:

  • Run a preview when it works for your site. Highly recommend you create a preview on June 1st or 2nd.

  • All report cards should be uploaded to your folder by June 5th at noon. That means all teachers should be done with their final grades by that morning in order to give you time to run the report card. Please email Joe Clark and Brandon Blom once they have been uploaded. Any site that does not have report cards uploaded by June 5th at noon will be responsible for emailing out their own report cards.

  • Joe will send an email to families on June 6th.

Wireless Certificate Update

After system updates are applied on the evening of Monday, May 8th, some devices (Mac, iPad’s, Personal BYOD) will require you to accept a new security certificate before you are able to reconnect back to the District network. If you have any problems or issues, please feel free to contact the helpdesk.

Important Update: Student Accounts Disabled Nightly

Beginning May 12th, student accounts will be unavailable from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am daily. This is a new initiative we're implementing to encourage students to unplug and rest.

We believe it is essential for students to take breaks from technology and prioritize their physical and mental well-being. By disabling their accounts during these hours, we hope to encourage them to disconnect and focus on other activities that promote relaxation and rejuvenation.

Please note that during this time, students will not be able to access their accounts and other resources from District-issued devices.

We appreciate your support in this initiative, and we believe it will have a positive impact on our students' overall health and well-being. Principals, please share this information with your families in your upcoming school newsletter.

Household Income Form Verification

On May 4th, the District will message all families that completed the Annual Household Income form during their 2023/24 registration to request they verify their responses and make any necessary updates. This is an important step in ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information.

The message includes a link to a Zendesk form created for families to update their responses. Updates will be managed by Technology Services. Educational and Technology Services are working together to ensure students enrolled in the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) will be contacted by the District if there is an update to their enrollment.

If you receive questions from families about the verification process, please reassure them that this is a routine check to ensure that our records are accurate and up-to-date.
