Educational Services
Last year all school sites sent a letter to their families reminding them about Care Solace. The letter has been updated for you to share again this year. As we continue our partnership with Care Solace, this will be an annual letter that is shared at the beginning of each school year. Please make sure to enter your site’s information and send out by the end of this month.

School Site Council (SSC)
These slides are an overview of School Site Council. Please make sure that you have the required number of people to serve on your SSC, and keep documentation of the election process. Slide 14 has been updated to ensure you plan for a meeting to go over LCAP information with your SSC, and has been updated with changes to SPSA timeline that we will review at leadership. This timeline is just an idea/sample to help you plan.

Backpacks for Elementary Students
The Hewlett Packard Gives program donated 100 backpacks this year for our elementary students. After distributing to the sites in need, we still have some left. Please reach out if you need some. Some of the backpacks also have a spiral notebook, pencil box, markers and colored pencils.

SWIS App for iPads, iPhones, etc.
There is now a downloadable app for PBIS SWIS! Go to the approved apps on your district device to download. You can also download on your iPhones, Android phones, etc. as well. Your login credentials are the same as your desktop version. Now you can enter ODRs on the move!

TK-5 Professional Development Cycle Admin Sign Ups
Principals, Assistant Principals, and TOSAs should plan on attending one PD Cycle day this year. Principals and APs will need to work with TOSAs to determine who will attend which date and each role will need to sign up on this document if you haven’t already.
