Sites have been asking about a district procedure for documenting court documents including custody paperwork and restraining orders in student records. Please follow this procedure: When a document comes in, an email goes out stating, “Student number 12345 has new information. Please go down to the cume file to look for information. Please check with the front office or principal if you have questions about what to look for.” This means that when the document arrives, it gets filed in the cume folder. The folders are supposed to be locked and confidential; only intended for those that work with the students. Principals, please preview this procedure with your front office staff.
Lexia Core5
All K-1 students have been provided with a Lexia account purchased by the district. Any additional licenses will be a site purchase. To purchase additional Lexia licenses, please refer to the document below. Please note that licenses must be purchased and renewed each year. Unless purchased for this year, 2nd-5th grade students will not have access at this time.

Personnel Services
A “timely, good faith” Interactive Process is a stand-alone statutory requirement in California. California State and Federal laws define the “Interactive Process” as on-going communication between the employer and the applicant or employee with a known disability in an effort to provide reasonable accommodation.
The Interactive Process This document provides an overview of the process and the important steps to be followed when determining whether an employee injury/disability can be accommodated in the workplace.
Updated procedures This form should be used anytime that an employee has any documented restrictions. It may also be initiated if you suspect that an employee may be in need of accommodations even if they have not presented formal restrictions in writing. This form will serve as a meeting agenda, communication tool, and formal documentation.
