Communications
- As there are only so many staff meeting dates available, if you’d like to have a lunch-time or after-school “Q&A” hour for staff to have ParentSquare questions answered, Jessica would be happy to come to your site during a lunch and/or after-school session.
- Attendance notification responses via ParentSquare are coming in not only on the day sent, but for previous days missed. We have worked with ParentSquare to limit responses after 24 hours. This change will be in effect tomorrow.

Progress Report Reminder
A reminder that progress reports go home tomorrow, Friday, September 27th. There are more details in the September 12th Educator Digest if needed. Middle Schools it is your responsibility to send out a message by 9/27/24, here is a sample message you can use.

EL & RFEP Progress Monitoring
It is time to begin our fall EL and RFEP Progress Monitoring process in Ellevation. This means that EL Site Leaders will be asking principals for 10-15 minutes of an October staff meeting so they can present this topic to teachers. EL Site Leaders will discuss the forms and support teachers with completing these forms by 11/8.

District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
If you have not done so already, please complete the 2024-2025 DELAC Site Representative Form by 10/11 to share the name of your site DELAC representative for this school year. DELAC meetings will be hosted on Zoom from 5:00-6:00 pm on the following dates: 10/22, 12/10, 2/18, 3/18, 5/13. Jennie will reach out to all representatives on October 11th to welcome them to the team. Thank you.

World Mental Health Day is October 10th

Calm is also celebrating World Mental Health Day.
In honor of World Mental Health Day, Calm is hosting a special event on October 8 with stress and burnout specialist Dr. Aditi Nerurkar and Calm CEO David Ko. Together they will discuss practical strategies for managing stress and building resilience.
During this one-hour virtual event, you’ll learn:
- The science behind the mind-body connection
- Tips to help you shift your mindset and empower lasting change
- How organizations can embrace a whole-person approach to health and support healthier, more productive employees
