Our October 31st Professional Development day is quickly approaching. Site leaders, please be sure all of your staff understands where to go on 10/31 and that your IAs do know it is a workday for them. If your staff prefer the Teacher Packets and slide deck to be printed for the Minimizing Challenging Behaviors training, please provide support with printing these materials. Thank you!

Schedule
October 31st PD Sessions and Locations
Doors will be open at 7:30am. Please arrive at your training site early to settle in, as we will begin promptly at 8:00am.
Information for the Minimizing Challenging Behaviors PD at Stoneridge and Eich
Please bring a fully charged laptop. HERE is the link to the digital workbook we will use throughout the training. You will need to make a copy of the document to access the editable version. If you prefer a printed version, you are welcome to print a copy and bring it to the training. Printed workbooks will not be provided at the training.
Additionally, if you would like to take notes on the slides, HERE is a link to the slide deck for the day. If you prefer a printed version, you are welcome to print a copy and bring it to the training.
Staff will have designated seating with their sites. Due to the training being at capacity, we cannot have student teachers, field workers, or interns attend. Thank you for understanding.
Parking Information
The linked maps below show designated parking areas on each campus and the location of the training on each campus. Once the school site's parking is full, we will use street parking. Please be considerate of our neighbors at our school sites and do not block driveways. Please carpool when possible.

K-5 myLexia
myLexia is a great resource for teachers and leaders to monitor student progress and review resources. Teachers can access myLexia through Clever. You can access myLexia here. Leaders can also support teachers logging into myLexia by reviewing the Staff Usage Report (see picture below). Lexia recommends that teachers log in at least once a week to review student progress.

CAASPP Results
Here is a direct link to the state website which has all CAASPP test results. Please ensure all grade levels at your site have been shared CAASPP information by December 5th.

Conference Week Interpreters - Deadlines Approaching
Just a reminder that Russian and Spanish conference schedules are due to Rachel McCoy by tomorrow, October 25th. The time block for interpreters was shared with you on October 7th and the details for what is needed is in that email. Also, for other languages and ASL, teachers need to submit the request for interpreter to site clerical by October 30th and clerical need to submit the Google form by November 4th. These are hard deadlines as interpreters need to be scheduled. After this deadline, the language line will need to be used. Please reach out if you have any questions.
