Submit Donation Drive Photos by 11/26
November is the month of giving, and we want to showcase your school’s donation events, such as canned food drives, on the District’s social media. Please submit photos to sroll@rcsdk8.org by November 26 for a chance to have your school featured.

The window for families to sign their students up for 2025 GATE testing closes tomorrow. As a reminder, the GATE test will be administered by contracted examiners and students will test at their home school sites in January. Each site will host testing one day after school and two rooms will be needed for testing. The GATE testing schedule will be shared with principals and site clerical by 11/22. If parents call your site about GATE testing, please remind them that they will receive an email from Educational Services by 12/23 confirming their student’s testing date, time, and location.

ESGI Tri 1 Data
If you run the Trimester 1 data by 11/13, you will see school grade reports and data by individual grade level. If you run Trimester 1 data after 11/13, you will see all grade levels (TK, K, 1) in all school grade reports and will need to filter by grade level.

Accessibility Resources
At our State and District Assessment leader meeting this week, we shared resources to refer to when discussing students who may need Designated Supports or Accommodations on state testing. Please work with your State and District Assessment Leader to discuss a plan of how these supports will be assigned to students.
