Clerical and custodial staff have access to the shared drive. Additionally, Lead Custodians have the option of submitting the playground equipment and wheelchair inspections via Google Form.

Master Key Agreements
Upload copies of signed Master Key Agreements (for A1 keys) to the designated folder in the M/F drive. Anyone at your site who has been issued a master key (principals, clerical staff, custodians, etc.) should sign an agreement. Keep a copy at your site for your records. Blank forms can be found in the M/F drive.

Maps
Upload a current site map to the “Site Maps” folder in the M/F Drive. List of what to include.

Safety
There are two types of safety buttons you have in the office. The one that needs to be tested per the safety checklist is the Emergency Alert Button (formerly known as the panic button). This is the button located under a desk in the front office. It’s the button that would be engaged if you saw an intruder with a weapon. Directions to test it can be found on the Site Safety Information Sheet. The Lockdown Button that locks your front door is not something that needs special testing as you technically “test” it each time you have a secure or lockdown drill.

MTSS Check In Chat
The MTSS check-ins with all principals have been a great way to understand what you and your PBIS, SSP, 504, and SEL/RP systems are looking like and areas sites could use support. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up for a meeting with Lauren yet, it’s not too late! Please sign up for a 20 minute timeslot where Lauren will come to your site to chat (here are the discussion questions).

Classified Evaluations
The classified evaluations spreadsheet is consistently being updated. On the school site tabs, there are employees from the school and Food Services listed. If the location for the employee starts with an “FS”, they are an employee at your site who is evaluated by Food Services.

Hiring Event
Personnel will be holding another Hiring Event for classified positions on Saturday, September 13, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at the District Office. If you are interested in attending to help us interview candidates, please contact Meghan Baichtal for more information. Prep Loss and Compensation

Any teacher covering a class during their prep at middle school or an elementary classroom teacher who loses their prep (PE prep only), due to a lack of substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year, will be compensated. PE Prep MOU-Coverage for Classes and Preparation Period Loss
Three scenarios are available for elementary teachers to choose from should their PE teacher be absent and there is no PE sub:
  • Teacher may choose not to attend PE and keep their class during the PE time (timesheet completed)
  • Teacher may choose to teach PE with support from the IA (timesheet completed).
  • If two classes attend PE together, teachers may choose to split teaching PE with support from the IA so each teacher instructs half the prep period and has a shortened prep (no timesheet completed)
If teachers opt to teach the PE class, they are the PE teacher during that time, and the IA is a support. Prepping/planning is not an option if you choose to “teach” PE during that time.
Sites should be asking teachers whether they will be taking their class out to PE that day.

Custodial Vacation Calendar
In an effort to ensure the correct coverage for our sites, we would like to get tentative vacation dates from your custodians. Principals, please talk with your custodians and then input the vacation dates on this form. These don't have to be set in stone, they will help guide coverage decisions.
