Attend Updates
Several updates to the Conferencing tab in SchoolStatus Attend have been made to make scheduling, logging, and managing conferences simpler and more efficient. Here’s what’s new:
Easily Close or Reschedule Conferences
Now, you’ll first decide if you want to close or reschedule a conference. Then, you’ll select the appropriate status. Separating these two steps should help ensure conferences end up in the right place, with the appropriate status.
One Tab for Scheduling: “To Be Scheduled”
To streamline your workflow, we’ve removed the “To Be Rescheduled” tab. Now, all conferences that need scheduling, whether for the first time or after multiple attempts, will appear under “To Be Scheduled.” Don’t worry: you’ll still see when a conference has been rescheduled multiple times to keep your records clear.
Simplified Management: “Removed from Conferencing” Tab Eliminated
We’ve also eliminated the “Removed from Conferencing” tab. Students removed from conferencing will now move to the “Closed” tab.
All of the changes are detailed in this help article.

Translate My Slide (Google Slides Translator)
Staff and students now have access to the premium version of the Translate My Slide Google add-on. The add-on has been added to staff and student devices and can be found under the Extensions tab within Google Slides. Students and teachers are now able to use the add-on without daily limitations. Here is a 30-Second Screencastify of how to use the resource. Please note: It is very important that Newcomer English Learners hear first instruction in English. While translation tools are extremely valuable, it is important that they are not used to replace direct English instruction.
