Invitation for Students to Exhibit at the 2026 California State Fair
RCSD students and staff are invited to submit to the 2026 California State Fair Student Showcase (ages 5 to 18).
The Student Showcase celebrates student creativity from across California and provides young artists the opportunity to have their artwork exhibited at the California State Fair, taking place July 17 to August 2, 2026. It’s a wonderful way for students to share their talent, build confidence, and share their work with thousands of visitors from across the state.

Educational Services

Elementary: i-Ready Subject of Instruction for the 26/27 school year
The district will continue to purchase one i-Ready Instruction subject (Reading or Math) for grades 2–5 at your site next year. Based on the data and usage reports you have been monitoring through your SPSA strategies, please complete this form to indicate which subject of instruction you would like the district to purchase for your site. Please complete this form by April 17.

LCAP Student Feedback
Please ensure you are completing the steps outlined in this document. Student feedback is due March 27th.

School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
Please refer to the SPSA Timeline to ensure you are on track for completion by April 23rd. The checklist is available to guide your work through the SPSA components. The Comprehensive Needs Assessment is due by March 27th.

Second Step Posters- Admin
All staff have the option to have Second Step posters sent to them via a google form in the Educator Digest. Additionally, I am opening this Second Step Posters for Admin Form so you can have multiple posters sent to you for use on your camps if you'd like. You may want several copies of some materials for common areas at your school (ie: multipurpose room, the office, the library, etc.).
If you want Second Step posters, please fill out the form with however many of each poster you'd like and we will send them to you through district mail.
This form will be shut off on Friday April 10th and extra materials will be disposed of.

PBIS Conference 2026 Call for Speakers
PBIS is accepting applications for speakers for the PBIS conference October 7th-9th. Check out the conference website for the application and details. The speaker application window is open through April 10, 2026.

The RCSD Employee Recognition Celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 5th from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the Kaseberg Elementary School’s Multipurpose Room. Please take a look at the list below to see who will be honored by years of service. I’m taking changes to the names until 3/25/26.
