SSP: Updated Request for Support Forms
As a reminder, all SSP documents are being updated for the 26-27 school year following the feedback and revisions from last year. The documents are not live in SIRAS yet. At our August leadership meeting, we will go through the training slides that will be presented during a September staff meeting to your site. Please wait to review any SSP form specific information with your staff until you have the updated training slide materials.

PBISapps SWIS
SWIS does not automatically roster students OR staff. Administrators or PBIS Leads with SWIS admin access need to add staff in one of these two ways:
If you’d like to review other how-to videos for SWIS, please check out this SWIS Video Resource. In the educator digest, staff is being directed to reach out to site admin or PBIS lead to get their user role updated.

504 Site Coordinator
Not all sites use a stipend position for 504 coordinators, so please fill out this 504 coordinator doc as soon as you know who your 504 Coordinator(s) will be this year. There will be a meeting on August 17th for NEW 504 Coordinators. All 504 Coordinators (new and returning) will meet on August 31st. Please list your Coordinator(s) as soon as you know who they are so I can get calendar invitations out ASAP.

  • Volunteers will be able to volunteer on campus once they have completed the Volunteer Sign up, TB and fingerprints. They will be able to volunteer on campus, but will have 6 weeks to complete the Public School Works Mandated Reporter training. If they don’t complete the training in that time, they will NOT be allowed to continue volunteering until it is completed.
  • High school students volunteering on campus DO NOT need to complete the mandated reporter training.
Technology Services

Technology Updates for the 2026/27 School Year
We’re beginning the 2026/27 school year with several technology updates designed to simplify access, reduce repetitive tasks, improve collaboration, and keep district information secure. Staff will now use Droplet for electronic forms, ClassLink for digital curriculum and applications, Gemini within approved Google Workspace tools, and Google Meet as the district-recommended video conferencing platform. These changes are intended to make everyday work more efficient while maintaining strong privacy and professional judgment.
Key Takeaways:
  • Droplet has replaced InformedK12. Forms now display only the questions each person needs and route automatically based on responses. Staff can access Droplet from a computer, tablet, or phone using their RCSD Google account.
  • ClassLink Launchpad has replaced Clever. Teachers and students will use LaunchPad to access digital curriculum, learning applications, and instructional tools.
    • QuickCards replace Clever Badges. Primary students may continue using a printed card to sign in. Each school will determine how QuickCards are printed and distributed.
  • Gemini is available within district-approved Google Workspace tools. Staff can use it to help plan, draft, organize, analyze, and create content in familiar tools such as Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Meet, and Vids.
    • AI-generated work must always be reviewed. Staff should verify accuracy and never enter confidential student, family, health, discipline, IEP, 504, or personnel information into an AI prompt.
  • Google Meet is now RCSD’s recommended video conferencing platform. Enhanced features include breakout rooms, polling, Q&A, translated captions, and meetings with up to 1,000 participants. Paid district Zoom licenses will no longer be provided.
Next Steps
Please take a moment to sign in to Droplet and ClassLink with your RCSD Google account, review the available Zendesk resources, and become familiar with Google Meet and Gemini. For assistance, please submit a Technology Services support request through Zendesk.
