Inventory Schedule and iPads A reminder there will be an RCSD inventory of assets done within the next two weeks.  Please see this schedule . A reminder all iPads must have the cases removed prior to the District-wide inventory. Unfortunately, some iPad cases are difficult to remove and if not done correctly, will break the iPad screens. To prevent this, Laura asked the Information Systems Technician team to assist.  Please move all iPads into a room in the Admin building (if needed, feel free label each iPad screen with a post-it where the iPad came from).  Email your site technician which room the iPads can be located in.  Your site technician will come and remove the cases from the iPads and leave them in the room for RCI to access.  Once the inventory is complete, please feel free to put the cases back on the iPads, or reach out to your site technician if you would like assistance putting the cases back on the iPads. December Leadership Meeting Updates We will be having a full day leadership meeting on December 4th. The meeting will begin at 8:00 and will end by 2:30 . At this meeting, the agenda will include an in-depth training module of our MTSS professional development day (1/7 for TK-5 and 4/22 for 6-8) and the expectations of administrators in the rollout of MTSS across the district. We realize this is a very busy time at your school sites so we have canceled our Ed Services Leadership Team Meeting on 12/18. Tommy Apostolos Shopping Day The Tommy Apostolos Shopping Day is coming up on December 1st starting at 5:30am!  There will be over 500 RCSD students shopping for warm winter clothes that morning.  You can download the volunteer form or sponsor a child at  http://tommyafund.com/ .  This will also be shared in the Educator blog, but principals please feel free to share with

Email A Copy of Suspension Notices to Ed Services Please be sure to email a copy of all suspension notices to Katie Haupt and Meghan Baichtal. If the student being suspended is in Special Education, add Shelly Field to the email. We have been running incident reports and finding inconsistencies in the suspension reported in PowerSchool and the notices we have received. Please be sure to send each notice to Educational Services in a timely manner. If expulsion is being considered, please speak with Meghan before reporting the incident in PowerSchool or sending a notice home to parents. Please use the suspension notice attached here on the blog, it is the most recent. The prior notice had the school phone number omitted. This form corrects that error.
