  Substitute Teacher Sign-in Subs at your site should be signed in via Raptor daily upon arrival.  This will ensure that they are on your site list in the event of a drill or emergency.  This includes all subs: teachers, aides, clerical, etc. If your clerical staff who manages Raptor check in is absent, please have the other clerical sign into Raptor for them. Safety Corner Accounting for Staff/Kids in Raptor Due to the fact that Raptor changed the view when logging in to account for staff and students, the slides have been updated to reflect these changes.  These slides focus on the steps for staff members to account for themselves, students and other staff members.  A “ cheat sheet ” has also been created to assist in the steps if needed.   Don’t forget how to support subs in the process as well.  In an evacuation a sub can connect with the teacher closest to their evacuation spot and that teacher can pull up the roster. In a secure or lockdown drill you can have someone they call into and report.  For example, they can call or text someone in the front office. This needs to be part of your sub procedures.  Alerting Site During a Drill/Emergency  Just a reminder that sites are not supposed to rely solely on Raptor alerts for drills and emergencies.  All sites must use Raptor as well as the intercom.  The language to use on the intercom is
