Upcoming Leadership Meeting Just a reminder that next week's Leadership meeting on April 5  will  be held in person  starting at 9:15 am in the Board Room at the District Office. See you then! Integrated Math Community Review Night Middle school administrators and clerical staff, as we continue to support our integrated math course, all four RCSD middle schools will be piloting and reviewing selected integrated math materials and evaluating each program. Before communication is sent out to families and the community I wanted to share the information that will be sent out by the district office next week. Below I have included part of the communication. “Part of the process is to give parents, guardians, and community members an opportunity to review materials and provide comments about the curriculum in the pilot. Materials can be reviewed online or at the Community Review Night. The materials will be on preview at the RCSD District Office on April 21st from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm. Pa

Leadership Dates the Rest of the Year April 5th- In-person, start 9:15am April 26 is on Zoom, start 9:15am May 10th- In-person, start 9:15am June 1st- In-person 9am-3pm CA Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) The CHKS survey is required to be administered every other year. Since it was administered last year, it will not be given this year. Contact: Rachael Peck GATE Identification Update Ed. Services has received the student scores from the GATE identification testing. These scores are being reviewed and will be mailed home to families next week. All families will receive the scores and a letter from Ed. Services indicating if their student has been GATE identified or if their student does not qualify for GATE identification at this time. Administrators will be receiving an email with copies of these letters and an updated list of students who are currently GATE identified. This list will include students who have been identified in previous years as well as students who are newly identified.

Reminder No School on Monday, March 21 Just a reminder to please send out communication reminding parents/guardians that there is no school on Monday for the Professional Development Day. Updated COVID-19 Guidance Highlights Band/Choral  - Both face masks and bell covers are strongly recommended but no longer required. CARE Spaces  - At this time, school sites may individually determine whether to keep a separate CARE space. CARE space is not required, however as we have always done, students who are feeling ill should be isolated from others until such time as they can be picked up. Staff Absences - Please note that staff will no longer be required to fill out the Symptom Screener form for illness absences. If an employee tests positive for Covid they will need to complete  COVID-19 Results Reporting (Staff)  form. Elementary PD on March 21, 2022 Info We wanted to give you more details about the March 21 PD Day. Brandon emailed all TK teachers so they know they are to attend this presentation. Susan will let RSP, SDC, ASD, and FSP teachers know they also will attend. PE teachers are meeting on their own during this time and will go over the sections that are specific to them. Music teachers swapped out this day for a Saturday music training they did in January. Aides will be getting additional information from Susan. If you have any questions about who should be attending the grading section of the PD day please let your coach know. Thanks!
