EDUCATIONAL SERVICES CPI Training - January 4th and 5th Principals - As a reminder, we will be offering another CPI Certification class on January 4th and 5th during the PD days.We have approximately 20 additional spots available. If you have an IA interested in attending, please confirm they are able to attend BOTH days and then complete the registration form . They will receive a calendar invite to confirm their registration. IAs will be paid on a timesheet for 6 hours on January 4th. They will receive 6 hours toward their required PD hours for January 5th. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Report Cards in Cumulative Files A reminder you do not need to print report cards for Trimesters 1 and 2. The elementary report cards now have all 3 trimesters on one report card. We will have information about Tri 3 printing as we get closer, but we received a few questions and wanted to address Tri 1 and 2. TECHNOLOGY SERVICES Important Update: Automatic Logouts for Staff Chrome OS Devices Starting December 17th To enhance digital security and privacy, we will enforce automatic log-outs of staff accounts from Chrome OS devices, including Chromebooks and Chromeboxes, after 20 minutes of inactivity. This change takes effect on Friday, December 17, at 3:00 PM. If your Chrome OS device is inactive for 20 minutes, the system automatically logs you out. This measure reduces the risk of unauthorized access and protects the confidentiality of stored information.

As shared in Leadership, you will no longer be receiving text alerts. You will receive an email, message on desk phone, and an app notification. COMMUNICATIONS Board Workshop on 10-Year Enrollment and Facilities Plans It is crucial our staff are updated and informed regarding the Board of Education workshop scheduled for this evening focusing on our 10-Year Enrollment and Facilities Plans. The workshop is intended for discussion and information sharing only; no formal decisions will be made. We're at a new stage in RCSD’s journey to address new growth in some areas of the district while considering declining enrollment in others. This workshop, taking place this evening, is an opportunity for staff and the Board to come together, share insights, and learn about options for our path ahead. It is open to the public and will also be live-streamed. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Elementary Report Cards Please see the blog for additional information that was shared with teachers about report cards. We spoke at Leadership about Spanish report cards. The expectation is that Spanish report cards are printed for students and handed out to them. Spanish report cards do not have to be emailed home. To run a report to find students whose primary home language is Spanish, you can use the drop down menu in PowerSchool: Once you click on the grade level, then you would run report. Additional information can be found utilizing the guide below on how clerical run report cards. Running Report Card Guide (includes video) Sites have two options for Spanish report cards. The first is clerical run the report cards and put in the teachers box. The pro of this is it is easier to run them all at once for clerical. The only downside in this is then you have to give teachers a date that the report cards are due. Teachers do have the ability to run their own Span

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) If you have not done so already, please complete the 2023-2024 DELAC Site Representative Form   by 10/6 to share the name of your site DELAC representative for this school year.
