MTSS Spotlight Second Step, our social-emotional learning curriculum is a crucial piece of our Tier 1 instruction in RCSD.  It is an evidence-based curriculum that helps transform schools into supportive, successful learning environments uniquely equipped to help children thrive.  It has several core planning pieces and all lessons are set up similarly with 5 key components. Check out this video to see a sample lesson* (this is K-5 specific, middle school will be coming at a later time).

Essential Standards PLC Feedback Form Reminder     As a reminder, please remember to have your PLCs fill out the Essential Standards Feedback form during a future Staff Meeting.
