Schedules in PowerSchool for the 2018-2019 School Year
At Leadership we discussed when parents would be able to see schedules for the 2018-2019 school year on PowerSchool.  Schedules will be able to be viewed starting the morning of August 7th.  We will have more information regarding class lists at one of the last two Leadership meetings.

CAASPP
Only two weeks left in the testing window! Please remember to check your CAASPP Completion Reports daily! Performance Tasks are only live for 10 days (including weekends) so keep a close eye on the timeline once they start a PT.

Content Migration
A reminder to please place the content you want to be moved from your Edlio website to the new website by May 14th.  Every site has a folder setup by Technology Services.  If you have any questions about content migration please contact Laura Assem.


Elementary Report Card Training
If you have any teachers that want to learn more about how to use T, B, and L for assignments (and not points) in PowerTeacher Pro, there is an optional training on Monday, May 14th at 3:45 in the Board Room.  This training will be offered again in August but any teachers that want to start learning more about Trend Lines in the grade book and not score using points can come to the training on Monday.  If they have any questions they can contact Brandon Blom.


Social Media Now Available for Staff on RCSD Wireless!
The District’s RCSD wireless network now supports access to social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.), for all staff and teacher accounts! Simply connect your phone, tablet, or laptop to RCSD, and you will automatically have access to social media feeds and posts.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
