EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TK Curriculum On May 9th, our School Board approved moving forward with Frogstreet as our TK curriculum to begin in the 24/25 school year. I am working with Susie Batter in our warehouse on the order and delivery of these materials. We will continue to update the TK team and the LMS team with the delivery and distribution of the curriculum which will occur in August. Contact: Angela Garcia Middle School ELA Curriculum Update At the May 9th Board meeting, the board approved the recommendation of adopting Amplify for 6th Grade and StudySync for 7th/8th. We are looking forward to learning and implementing two new curricula next year.   COMMUNICATIONS Website Modification Request Form The Communications Team will be working closely with school and department websites to streamline, update, and freshen content in alignment with best practices and legal requirements. The goal of the project is to require minimal updates and changes to websites throughout the school year. Contact: Jessica Hull TECHNOLOGY SERVICES Temporary Technology Helpdesk Closure As part of our ongoing commitment to providing seamless support and assistance, we wanted to share an upcoming change in our service availability. Beginning Tuesday, May 14th, the Technology Helpdesk will be temporarily unavailable. This is due to the deployment of our Information Systems Technician team to Middle Schools to assist with Chromebook collection. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES GATE Identification Update GATE identification testing scores are being mailed home to parents/guardians this week. If students participated in testing this year, their parents will receive a letter in the mail with scores and communication indicating if their student has been GATE identified or if their student does not qualify for GATE identification at this time. Next week, administrators will receive an email with copies of these letters along with an updated list of all students who are GATE identified at each site. This list will include students who have been identified in previous years, as well as students who are newly identified as of 2024 testing. In addition, Ed. Services will be creating purple GATE folders that will need to be placed in student cumulative files. These folders will be sent to sites as soon as they are complete.
