Elementary Report Cards
Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024.
Please see the educator blog for additional information that was shared with teachers about report cards. As a reminder it is a site decision on if you print report cards, email, or both. Report Cards must go home by the end of the day on 3/1.
Action Item: Admin must let their staff know the site plan on if you are printing or emailing report cards, and what date you would be emailing if that is what the site chooses to do.

Emailing Report Cards
We spoke at Leadership in Trimester 1 about Spanish report cards. The expectation is that Spanish report cards are printed for students and handed out to them. Spanish report cards do not have to be emailed home.
To run a report to find students whose primary home language is Spanish, you can use the drop down menu in PowerSchool:

Once you click on the grade level, then you would run the report. Additional information can be found utilizing the guide below on how clerical run report cards.

Sites have two options for Spanish report cards. The first is clerical run the report cards and put in the teachers box. The pro of this is it is easier to run them all at once for clerical. The only downside in this is then you have to give teachers a date that the report cards are due. The second option is teachers have the ability to run their own Spanish report cards, however they have to run their entire class, and then just print out the report cards only for specific students.
We know this process with PowerSchool report cards was new in Trimester 1. If you need any support please submit a Zendesk ticket and we would be happy to help.

Middle School Report Card Info
Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024.
This is the same process as previous years and Trimester 1. A reminder you must run a report card preview. You will use the same folder you used last year. You can add a Trimester 2 folder to your 23/24 folder if you have not already.
Sites will run report cards at the end of the day on 2/29 and Brandon will be emailing them out on 3/1. The information about teachers having final grades done by noon on 2/29 was put in the Educator Blog. Once you have run both the Learning Behavior and Academic Report cards, put the files in your site folder and email Brandon Blom.
Action Item: It is on the site to communicate when they will send out a preview and final timeline with your staff. If you need the folder again or help generating report cards, please let Brandon know.

Please click on the link below to review the macOS update schedule by site:
Update Schedule
Staff who need assistance with updating will be provided with a loaner MacBook to use during the update process. Updates are anticipated to take between 60 to 90 minutes. If you don’t require a loaner computer during this window, you may use your iPad. If you’ve received the Nudge notification but haven’t attempted an update yet, we highly recommend doing so before your site’s scheduled date. Updating your macOS to the latest version will eliminate the need for your device to be collected for the update. If you prefer remote assistance before your scheduled site date to complete the update, please submit a support request via Zendesk.
