CAASPP Parent Notification Letter and Communication Resources
This is a reminder to please work with your site State and District Assessment Leader to send out the CAASPP Parent/Guardian Notification Letter via Swift no later than 3/1/24.
Here is a list of state testing resources and messages you may use in upcoming site newsletters and parent communications as we approach testing. Please continue to keep our families informed of the importance of testing.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
