Different ways of grouping change at Orchard Ranch


Optional Benchmark Training for Elementary Principals
The training will be on January 19th from 8:30-10:30 in the Warehouse Conference Room.

Writing about the seasons at Spanger.
Optional Ed Tech Training
Optional Admin Ed Tech training will be on January 26th 8:00-9:30 in the Warehouse Conference Room.  The main topic of this training will be Google Classroom.

The next one after that is planned for February 23rd 8:00-9:30 in the Warehouse Conference Room.  The main topic will be Formative Assessment tools.

From your input, the other items that we will do training on this year are iPads and Apple TVs, Green Screens, and Blog.  The dates and times of those trainings will be given by the end of the month.  If there are other things you would like training on, please let Brandon know and he can add it to a session for everyone or by more than happy to come to your school site to work with you.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
