Let’s explore ways to seamlessly weave reading and writing that will turn read alouds and shared reads into writing projects that our youngest writers will love. Topics covered: selecting and using mentor text, informational and narrative writing, poetry, genre study, and ideas for end of unit projects and art. Let’s leverage our literacy time and create awesome mini-units that keep kids engaged and get them excited about reading and writing.
