Tentative Professional Development Plan- Week of 8/3/20 
We are excited to spend a week together learning and preparing for the new school year in our Distance Learning Model. Here you will find the tentative professional development plan for the week of 8/3. More information, including links and times for trainings, will be provided soon.

Below are sample Google Slide templates you can use when creating slides for your students or parents.  Using these templates are 100% optional but we wanted to provide an additional resource.

 How to Print Clever Badges 
Here are instructions on how to print Clever Badges for students.  The admin instructions start on page 3.  A reminder these will need to be printed for all kids.

 SSP Facilitators
Please fill out this form with your facilitator and PBIS information by Friday, August 21st.  Julie Murdaugh will work on updating all grade levels and information in the SSP site folders.  She will also communicate with the SSP facilitators (new or returning) as we move through the first part of this school year.

This is something helpful to keep in hand for families in need not only during the holidays, but all year long. LiveScan Update The Roseville PD is no longer doing live scans for fingerprinting. Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. In the front office/in safety plan binder- easy to access: - Post the telephone number for the fire department. - List of who does what during a fire emergency. In each room by the door: - Post an evacuation map. - Instructions for what to do in an emergency (how do you account for kids, communicate, etc). BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LCFF Funds If you are placing any orders using LCFF money, here is a helpful resource to look at when determining if LCFF can be used. When in doubt, always reach out to your coach or Rachael. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
