Upcoming Job Fair - Information & Leadership Sign Up
As mentioned on our Leadership call this week, here is some further information about our upcoming District Classified Job Fair on Tuesday, November 16, from 1 pm - 7 pm.
  • Leadership Sign Ups
    We have created a Sign Up Genius with one-hour time slots for any leaders that would like to assist at the fair. We understand this is a hectic time and if you cannot make it, not to worry! And please know that if you can't make it, we will still be recruiting for all open positions, so you won't miss out on filling your site positions. However, if you have an hour or two and can come down and lend some support and be an interviewer, we would greatly appreciate it.
  • Job Fair Details/Marketing
    We have created a webpage that you may reference for further details. In addition, we will be putting information in Friday's Weekly about the event and putting in some verbiage in this week's Leadership blog that you may use to place in any of your site-level communications. We will also be pushing this information out via social media and boosting it, so when that hits, we will make sure you are aware if you want to share it on your local site pages.

Student Teachers Needed
UMass Global (formerly Brandman University) is looking to place five (5) student teachers for the Spring term. 
  • Three are Multiple Subjects and two are Single Subject PE. Each candidate will need two 40 day placements.
    • Examples: Placement 1 starts 1/3/22 (& they could attend the teacher work day) to 3/2/22 and then Placement 2 starts 3/7/22 to 5/10/22.
  • Placement 1 starts 1/10/22 to 3/9/22 and Placement 2 starts 3/14/22 to 5/9/22.
Alliant University is looking to place one (1) student teacher for the Spring term.
  • It will be for a Multiple Subject placement - preferred 2 - 8 week placements (K-2, 3-5) or 1 - 16 week placement.
Let Laurie Milton know if you are interested in having a student teacher at your school for the Spring.

Once the placement is made, please fill out the student-teacher/intern form to show your approval and we will follow up with the student to get them live scanned and processed.

LineWize and SysCloud
All admin should be receiving notifications from LineWize and SysCloud for possible technology violations. They are alerts that flag keywords on student devices/documents. If you are not receiving any, please let Rachael Peck know as soon as possible.

Elementary- PE and Music Teachers on the November 1 PD Day
Elementary principals, if you have not done so already please email your music and PE teachers your agenda so they can decide which site to go to on the November 1 PD day.

Placer Food Bank Linked above is a resource for the Placer Food Bank public food distribution schedule. This is something helpful to keep in hand for families in need not only during the holidays, but all year long. LiveScan Update The Roseville PD is no longer doing live scans for fingerprinting. Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
