GATE Testing
Parents who signed their students up for GATE testing will be receiving an email from Ed. Services on December 10 explaining the specifics of GATE testing. This email will include the location, date, and time of the test. Please revisit your email from Jennie Ruvalcaba (sent on November 30) to view your specific site schedule and other testing information.

LCFF - Requisitions
When submitting a requisition for a purchase using LCFF funds, please make sure to note the goal it is connected to in your SPSA.

January 3rd Professional Development Day
Our upcoming District PD consists of Tier I Behavior Training (delivered by TOSAs/APs), DTMs, and Asynchronous Science Training (elementary only). In order to maximize the learning for the Behavior Training and foster relationship-based practices, the one-hour training should be held in person. Please be sure to follow all CDPH guidelines. Attendees should be wearing masks and be spaced out as much as practicable (i.e. held in a multipurpose room or gym rather than a staff room). This training will include aides and PE and Music teachers (they will choose which of their two sites they go to). More details to come regarding training content at Leadership on Tuesday, December 14.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver.
