Attendance Tab

You can now easily see days absent in previous years by going to Attendance Info and clicking on the previous years.  You will need to click on elementary to see elementary attendance, and middle school attendance to see middle school. This is helpful to see what percentage of school a student has missed in the past.



Requisition Reminder

The last day to process regular purchase orders for 2022-23 will be April 17, 2023. Please

do not enter any requisitions after April 17, 2023. You will be able to enter 2023-2024

requisitions beginning May 1, 2023.


When creating a requisition using LCFF,  please make sure to put the goal in the comment section, not the line item description. Thank you!


Solution Tree PLC Conference
As we continue our work with PLCs we are excited to share that Solution Tree is hosting a PLC Conference in Sacramento on June 19th-21st.  Derk has offered to pay for one representative from each site.  Please fill out this form so that we are able to register the representative you'd like to send from your site. This could be you or a different staff member.  

If you'd like to send more staff members, this would be a site expense to improve your PLC development and registration can be completed at the site level.  Please fill out the form by Tuesday, April 11th so that we are able to register before seats sell out!

Applications Access and Sign in with Google

To ensure we comply with state and federal laws regarding student data privacy Technology Services will limit the ability to Sign-in using Google to only District approved applications and services. Staff or students currently connecting to an application or service using Sign in with Google using your RCSD account will no longer be able to as of April 17th. 


When staff or students Sign in with Google, they agree to share their first name, last name, student number/staff number, email, location, and possibly other information outlined in the terms of service of the application or service. Without a data privacy agreement (SDPA), the District cannot protect the safety and privacy of the information shared. If the tool is compromised, the District will not receive a notification to take action to ensure accounts are secure.

Please feel free to reference the following sheet to view our current Application Access list:


  • Currently Approved Applications

  • Applications Pending Approval (based on high usage)

  • Not Approved/Pending Site Requests


If you see an application or service you currently use, please ask your site administrator to complete the App Approval form, and we can work with the vendor to sign the SDPA. On April 17th, if staff and students are accessing an application or service, not on the Currently Approved Application list, they will no longer be able to Sign in with Google using their RCSD account.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
