Please make sure to fill out the Google form by this Friday, September 22nd, that states how many Spanish interpreters you will need for conference week. Reference the email sent on September 8th by Rachel McCoy.

Administrator Action Items

  • Continue to collect Parent Annual Notification forms or have them complete them through the Parent Portal

  • Review i-Ready data with site by November 3rd and collaborate with Site Assessment Leader to develop a plan of sharing data and resources available in i-Ready

  • Work on SPSA  

    • Comprehensive Needs Assessment section is due 9/29 

    • Standards, Assessment, and Accountability part will need to wait on CAASPP data

    • Goals to coach by October 27th

    • Notify Rachael that SPSA is ready for review at least two days prior to SSC meeting in order to get feedback for changes before your meeting. This will likely be in November 

    • SPSA is completed and approved, including uploaded signature page - by December 1st


  • Middle School Only - Collaborate with admin and counseling team to develop  response protocol for STOPit and Monitor addressing the specific questions. 

  • Check in with site clerical regarding IZs, CHDP forms, field application usage, and independent study processes

  • Talk to Clerical about First Amendment Auditors. Not a safety concern, not a school concern but wanted them to be aware.

  • Talk to your site and clerical about if report cards will be printed, emailed, or both


Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMSⓇ)

If you are looking for ways to provide enrichment opportunities for students in the area of math, you may want to consider Math Olympiads. This is a math competition program with participants from all over the world. The objectives are to teach multiple strategies for out-of-the-box problem solving, develop mathematical flexibility in solving those problems, and foster mathematical creativity and ingenuity. District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

Please complete the 2023-2024 DELAC Site Representative Form  by 10/6 to share the name of your site representative for the this school year. DELAC meetings are held from 5:00-6:00, via Zoom, and 4 -5 times per year. Jennie will reach out to all representatives to invite them to the first DELAC meeting that will be held on 10/17.
