i-Ready Window 1
As a reminder, i-Ready Diagnostic Window 1 ends September 15th, 2023. Please work with your PLCs to make sure students have completed the diagnostic before the window ends. 

TK-1 Foundational Skills Assessments
Beginning of the year assessments should be completed in ESGI by September 22. 

Care Solace 
Last year all school sites sent a letter to their families reminding them about Care Solace. The letter has been updated for you to share again this year.  As we continue our partnership with Care Solace, this will be an annual letter that is shared at the beginning of each school year. Please make sure to enter your site’s information and send out via Swift so the email is translated.

School Site Council (SSC)
These slides are an overview of School Site Council that we reviewed last year. Please make sure that you have the required number of people to serve on your SSC, and keep documentation of the election process. Slide 14 has been updated to ensure you plan for a meeting to go over LCAP information with your SSC. This timeline is just an idea/sample but you can always have more meetings.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
