Leadership on Monday - 8/30

Please have remotes for Apple TVs available and staff iPads charged and passcodes available if there is a passcode lock. Any site purchased apps with available licenses will be re-installed on the device. If there are no licenses available, please work with your principal on purchasing licenses for the apps.
We will also take this opportunity to enroll staff laptops into Filewave (MDM) which will take a couple of minutes with each staff computer to install the application. Please leave your teacher laptop in the room prior to our visit. The Information Systems Technician team will be onsite after instructional hours to enroll the devices, please submit a SchoolDude ticket if you are unable to leave your laptop so we can schedule Filewave enrollment ahead of the site visit. Below is a schedule of when the Information Systems Technician team will be at your school:

PowerSchool Mask Exemption
In PowerSchool, staff now have the ability to view Mask Exemptions by selecting or searching for any student from Start Page, under Information > Alerts, and scrolling down under Medical Alert to flag a student “Mask Exempt.”
From the Start Page of PowerSchool, for your site, please copy and paste the below search string to identify and select the students exempt from wearing a mask.
U_Students_Extension.STU_MASKEXEMPT=1
Principals - When a mask exemption is granted, please mark this alert in addition to uploading the mask exemption forms as attachments in PowerSchool. For any exemptions that have already been granted, please be sure to update this alert in PowerSchool.

SWIS Invoices
SWIS Invoices have started coming in. When you receive your invoice, please email it to Katie Haupt and Erin Peterson as Educational Services will be covering the cost.
Linewize and Classwize Admin Access
If you would like an admin account for Linewize and Classwize, please watch the videos below showing how to use the admin side of Linewize. This account allows you to use Classwize to see what students are doing on a Chromebook. It also allows you to get more details about student search history. We are asking you watch the videos first because there are other controls that you would have access to that could change access for teachers and we want to make sure you are using the parts of the account that apply to you. After watching the videos please email Bryan Lemas and he will setup your account. You will then get an email with a link to activate.

iReady Teacher Toolbox
This year, due to pricing, we are unable to offer access to the iReady Teacher Toolbox. However, you may purchase the iReady Teacher Toolbox as a site. The CAASPP testing window for the Smarter Balanced (ELA and mathematics), CAA (ELA and mathematics) and CAST assessments will be from March 14, 2022 to May 20, 2022.

Apple School Manager Schedule
In the upcoming weeks, the Information Systems Technician team will be at sites enrolling staff iPads and Apple TVs into site Apple School Manager (ASM) accounts and Filewave (MDM) to enable future App purchases without two-factor authentication. The enrollment process requires the staff iPad and Apple TV be factory reset. We ask that you please work with your LITE to download or transfer any personal items (i.e. photos, videos, notes, etc.) from the iPad prior to our site visit.
