    It is that time of year to recognize our amazing RCSD sites and staff for all the hard work they have done this year on behalf of supporting student behavior. Here are the PBIS Recognition Resources for your teams to refer to as you prepare for submitting your site’s application. Please fill out the ACER Walkthrough Sign Up by February 18 in order to let Erin Peterson your interest in recognition and the ideal month to conduct your site walk-through.

  • Raptor - Drill Accountability
    After the Leadership presentation, a slide deck was put together that walks staff through the initial setup on the Raptor App. If you are logging onto the computer for the first time, there are no setup steps. All you do is log in. There are slides for that as well in case they are needed. The slides are a living document so if changes/updates need to be made, I will make them as needed. Please notice that slide one is a title page and will take you to other locations in the slide deck. Staff doesn’t need all of it.

      • Practice with staff without students (by end of March)
      • Two drills and feedback (by mid-May)
    Feedback from your drills is important as it will help us grow and improve the use of Raptor for drills. If you prefer to email, call, or Vox your feedback, please go ahead, and I will then enter it all on the form to capture it in one place.

    I will keep a running document of questions as I work on problem-solving. Please refer to it as needed. Updates will also be shared at Leadership.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver.
