PBIS Recognition
It is that time of year to recognize our amazing RCSD sites and staff for all the hard work they have done this year on behalf of supporting student behavior. Here are the PBIS Recognition Resources for your teams to refer to as you prepare for submitting your site’s application. Please fill out the ACER Walkthrough Sign Up by February 18 in order to let Erin Peterson your interest in recognition and the ideal month to conduct your site walk through.

Report Card Info and Reminders

Attendance will not show until the morning 2/23 so please make sure final report cards are not ran until 2/23 or later.  We have to wait until the Trimester is over to get attendance on the report card.  This is a new process for us as well and we apologize for any inconvenience and not getting this information to you sooner.


If a comment or grade is not showing on the report card it usually is because the teacher did not put a date. A reminder that the date needs to fall within the Trimester window. For any comments or elementary rubrics we recommend putting a date of 2/18/22.


And one more reminder to please use the RCSD logo on the Generate Report Card Guide and do not use previous logos as the logo file size that was previously used was a size that caused some issues with emailing out the report card.

BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
